This project was part of the Designing for Services course in the MFA program at Aalto University, conducted in collaboration with the City of Espoo.
Working with a multidisciplinary team 👥, we explored how Business Espoo’s Competence Development Package could better support SMEs 💼.
The package, offered by a public-sector collaboration network 🌐, includes training programs to help SMEs stay competitive, but was underutilized.
Through desktop research📄, SME and stakeholder interviews👔, and a co-creation workshop🛠️, we identified improvement opportunities and designed a lifecycle-based structure 🔄 for the package. Each stage clearly highlights its value proposition 🌟 and key touchpoints ✨, enhancing the overall service delivery experience.
Our solution provides a strategic, SME-centric foundation for Business Espoo to evolve the package into a more engaging, effective, and usable service 🚀.
